HOW IS YOUR QUALITY SO HIGH, IF YOUR PRICES ARE SO LOW?

Everything comes down to the work we’ve put into the sourcing and assembly of our products. Because of the time we spent researching the market, and personally seeking out various suppliers for every part of our watch, we are able to optimize our production process. Unlike other brands, every single one of our watches is then assembled by hand, so we are 100% sure that our watches are flawless before we send them to you! This was the only way we saw fit to deliver a product worthy of your wrist.

 

Our prices aren’t based on our quality, in fact, we could charge double our price and still reflect our quality. We charge what we think you deserve to spend, and that’s a business model we believe everyone should follow.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? DO YOU HAVE ANY STORES?

Xavier Remon is proudly based in Cape Town, South Africa. Though we don’t have any permanent physical stores, we do offer shipping to any country in the world.

THE WATCH I WANT IS SOLD OUT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Our watches can sell out pretty fast, and we are putting a lot of time into increasing our production capacity. We do give you the option to preorder your watch, or you can simply opt in to be notified the moment we once again have your watch in stock. We are always available for any inquiries regarding our products at support@xavierremon.com

WHEN DOES MY ORDER SHIP?

If you buy your watch before 10am SAST, your order will ship that same day! For any other weekday orders, your order will ship the day after purchase. If you purchase over a weekend or public holiday, your product will ship on the next business day.

HOW DOES ORDER TRACKING WORK?

The moment your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email and tracking number. If you haven’t received these within two business days of ordering, please email us at support@xavierremon.com

CAN I MAKE A CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?

Efficient service is what makes us tick, so we aim to send orders out as fast as possible. If you want to make any changes to your order, reach out to us ASAP at support@xavierremon.com

We will do everything we can to change your order, but the moment your order has been shipped we can’t change it. In that case, check out our Returns policy, we should be able to help you out there.

WHAT KIND OF MOVEMENT IS IN YOUR WATCHES?

We spent a good amount of time considering this one, and finally concluded that the Japanese MIYOTA Precision Quartz Movement, which is one of the best-known in the world, was the best option for our watches.

WHAT GLASS DO YOU USE?

We use Sapphire Coated Hardened Mineral Glass. Our sapphire crystal coating makes the glass virtually impossible to scratch, whilst the Hardened Mineral provides a solid base to prevent the shattering on impact that standard Sapphire glass is susceptible to. Personally, this is our favourite feature in our watches.

WHAT TYPE OF STEEL ARE YOUR WATCHES MADE OF?

All of our watches make use of 316l surgical grade stainless steel, which is pretty much the pinnacle of steel in the industry.

WHAT TYPE OF LEATHER DO YOU USE?

We use premium grade Italian leather for all of our straps. And, of course, each strap is made by hand.

ARE XAVIER REMON WATCHES WATER RESISTANT?

Yes, the lowest water resistance we offer on our watches is 3ATM. What does that mean? It means you can go through your everyday routine, washing dishes, and hopefully your hands, watering the garden, spilling your drink in the heat of the moment, all without worrying about your watch. Does this mean I can go scuba-diving with my watch? No. You should not shower or swim with your watch, though we are currently working on a 10ATM watch range, so keep an eye out for that.

WHEN DO YOU SHIP?

All our orders are shipped out Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm SAST. Any orders before 10am will be shipped out on that same day, otherwise, orders ship the day after purchase. You will receive a confirmation email and a tracking number as soon as your product is shipped.

DO YOU PROVIDE INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?

We ship to any location around the World, you just need to provided your address or P.O. Box, and we’ll do the rest. All international shipping rates are provided at checkout. We do not cover any customs/international VAT fees charged by local governments. If you have any questions please contact us at support@xavierremon.com, we are eager to help.

DO I PAY DUTIES AND TAX?

We’re glad you thought of asking this one! First of all, for any orders in Southern Africa, the entire VAT is included in the product price, so no unpleasant surprises at checkout.

For other international orders, this really depends on the country you’re in. Though we do offer free shipping across the globe, this is not inclusive of international VAT, import taxes and any other additional fees charged by local customs. Why? Well, these fees vary from country to country, and at the moment we don’t have the capacity to adjust to the differing fees of 195 countries (that’s how many countries there are in the world, by the way).

 

Please take note, it’s not Xavier Remon charging this additional fee, it’s your local government. We haven’t begun waging our war on tax, but it’s in the works. Until then, we’re as unhappy with it as you are, but we won’t allow it to ruin the experience, and neither should you!

Please contact us at support@xavierremon.com the moment you want to make a change. We can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to change it, because we work pretty fast to get your products on the move. If you’re too late, head over to our Returns and Exchanges, and you can take it from there.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

Local shipping will take between one and two business days. International shipping varies from country to country, but you can usually expect your watch within 10 business days. We promise that we’ll do everything we can to ensure lightning quick shipping, as we believe it’s a major part of the experience.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

The moment your order ships you should receive a confirmation email and tracking number from us. If it has been 48 hours since your purchase, and you haven’t received any confirmation from us, let us know at support@xavierremon.com

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?

If you are not 100% happy with your products, you have 14 days to return it to us, and we’ll cover all the related shipping costs.

 

All returned items must be returned in perfect, unused and re-sellable condition. The product should be in original packaging and any protective covering should be on the watch as when you received it. For international orders, original shipping costs for returned items are non-refundable.

HOW CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

Our first priority is giving you a product that you love. If that’s not the case, you can return or exchange it if:

 

  1. Your items are in re-sellable condition, which means its unworn, and undamaged (e.g. no creases on straps), and in its Xavier Remon original package.

  2. You submit your return request within 14 days of receiving your order.

HOW LONG DO REFUNDS TAKE?

Your refund should be received within two weeks. If it doesn’t, contact us at support@xavierremon.com and we’ll sort it out.

WHO COVERS THE COST OF THE RETURN?

We do. Simple as that.

DO XAVIER REMON WATCHES HAVE A WARRANTY?

Every single watch comes with its own 12 months limited warranty. Limited? What does that mean? Well, we cover any manufacturing defects for 12 months after your purchase date. This means any faults with watch parts and mechanics can be reported, and returned to us, free of charge, for repair or replacement. What we don’t cover is any damage you might inflict on the watch yourself. This refers to water damage, normal wear and tear, batteries, glass damage, scratches, strap damage, or theft. DISCOUNT EXCLUSIONS? DO YOU HAVE THOSE?

When a sale is active, any other discount codes will not be active on already marked down products. Also, you can’t use two separate discount codes on a single order.

Xavier Remon originated in Cape Town, South Africa. At the moment we have branches in Cape Town and Johannesburg, though these are mainly for production and distribution purposes. At the moment we are operating solely online.
